In a related development, a stolen Toyota Corolla, reported missing in Ilaro, was recovered from Arowolo Taoreed in Ibadan, Oyo State. Meanwhile, Adedokun Adewusi was arrested in connection with another armed robbery incident. This arrest led to the recovery of a grey 2017 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport, which had been stolen in Abuja. A pistol seized in Ajah, Lagos State, has also been linked to the same criminal network, indicating the syndicate’s wide operational reach across multiple states.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects are part of a coordinated criminal network involved in vehicle theft and armed robbery across Ogun State and its neighboring regions.
