Gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked a residential estate in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Monday evening, abducting three family members in a brazen raid that has sparked alarm among residents. Badewa spoke to reporters, revealing that one of the victims is seriously ill and feared for her health while in captivity. “This has devastated us. One of those taken is sick, and we are worried her condition may deteriorate in captivity. We appeal to the authorities and kind-hearted Nigerians to come to our aid,” he said. The Police Public Relations Officer for Ogun State, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Tuesday. Babaseyi emphasized that the command remains committed to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes across the state.
