The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Programme is a highly competitive initiative that selects only a few students from across Nigeria each year. Miss Sa’adu was among just seven Nigerian participants chosen for the programme, which offers leadership training, academic enrichment, and cross-cultural experiences. Governor Radda praised the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, led by Yusuf Sulaiman-Jibia, for creating platforms that enable students to compete and succeed on the global stage.
He stressed that her achievement underscores the effectiveness of his administration’s ongoing investments in education. These efforts focus on improving learning outcomes, expanding access to quality schools, and preparing students for international challenges. The governor expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills Miss Sa’adu gained during her exchange will positively influence her future career and inspire other students in Katsina and beyond.
In his message, Governor Radda extended heartfelt congratulations to Miss Sa’adu, her family, her teachers, and the entire SUFU Secondary School community. He also wished her continued success in all her future endeavors. Her story stands as a powerful example of what Nigerian youth can achieve with the right support and opportunities. As Katsina continues to prioritize education, Miss Sa’adu’s success is expected to motivate more students to aim high and pursue excellence.
