Fadebi’s career began during the Standard Trust Bank era, where he rose through the ranks over 28 years before the institution merged and evolved into United Bank for Africa (UBA), one of Africa’s leading financial institutions. At UBA, he held pivotal roles including Head of Human Resources Business Partnering for Nigeria, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Group Managing Director/CEO, and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Managing Director/CEO, UBA Africa. He also served as Head of Recruitment Support, Confirmation and Records, where he played a crucial role in talent acquisition and workforce management.
His tenure at UBA was marked by significant contributions to operational efficiency and service delivery, earning him multiple institutional awards and recognition. Fadebi is widely respected for his expertise in strategic HR partnership, policy development, employee relations, staff welfare, outsourcing, organizational governance, and disciplinary management. He also chaired the Corporate Disciplinary Committee, where he helped reinforce compliance culture and institutional discipline across the organization.
