Nigeria’s music stars are making a powerful global statement with four artists featured on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, set to drop on 5 June 2026. The album, described by FIFA as the most extensive multi-track music initiative ever created for a World Cup, includes tracks from Burna Boy, Rema, Davido, and Ayra Starr, showcasing the growing influence of Nigerian music on the international stage. The project brings together global superstars across genres, from pop and hip-hop to Afrobeats and electronic music, with Nigerian artists playing a central role.

Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai,” featuring Colombian icon Shakira, serves as the official song of the tournament and the theme for the FIFA Education Fund. The track, released on 15 May, also includes songwriting contributions from Ed Sheeran and has already gained widespread attention. Its music video, which features Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, highlights the spirit of unity and celebration that defines the World Cup. The song’s blend of Afrobeat rhythms and global pop appeal has made it a fan favorite even before the album’s full release.

Rema’s contribution, “Goals,” is a dynamic collaboration with Thai K-pop sensation Lisa and Brazilian superstar Anitta. Released on 21 May, the track fuses Afrobeats, K-pop, and Latin pop into a high-energy anthem that has already started trending on streaming platforms. The music video, which features vibrant visuals and global choreography, underscores the album’s mission to connect fans worldwide through music.

Davido joins forces with Major Lazer and Canadian pop icon Nelly Furtado on “No Place Like Home,” a track that blends Afrobeat with electronic beats and soulful vocals. Ayra Starr closes Nigeria’s representation with “Show Me,” a collaboration with American rapper Latto that blends pop and Afrobeats with a youthful, energetic vibe. Both tracks highlight the versatility and global appeal of Nigeria’s rising music talents.

The 18-track album also features artists like Future, Tyla, Stormzy, The Rolling Stones, Daddy Yankee, and 21 Savage, creating a diverse and inclusive soundtrack for the 2026 tournament. The album is available for pre-save on all major streaming platforms, with the full release scheduled for 5 June 2026. As the world prepares for the biggest football event, Nigerian music is once again proving its global reach and cultural impact.
