Hon. Teslim Babatunde Jimoh has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Ibadan North West State Constituency in Oyo State House of Assembly, securing a decisive victory on Wednesday. The primary election was conducted across all 11 electoral wards that make up the constituency, with party members casting their votes to choose their preferred candidate. Jimoh emerged as the clear winner, polling 1,218 votes, while his closest rival, Hon. Adams Adebayo Yusuf, received 859 votes.
