The minister had labeled the governors “politically lazy” after they opposed his proposed Rainbow Coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abati emphasized that the President is now caught in a tight spot, forced to choose between supporting the APC state leaders or standing by Wike, who remains a key figure in Tinubu’s political machinery. “Now it’s President Tinubu that has been put on the spot,” Abati stated. “He is faced with a choice.
