Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has officially confirmed Engr. Aminu Usman Gumel as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election, ending months of speculation about a potential change in the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket. The announcement was made during a meeting with a delegation from the Gumel Emirate at the Government House in Dutse, where the governor praised his deputy’s competence, professionalism, loyalty, and significant contributions to the success of his administration.
