The Katsina State Hisbah Board in Dutsinma Local Government Area has arrested a native doctor and two women over allegations of engaging in questionable spiritual practices, including the misuse of human biological materials for charms. The incident, which came to light after a husband discovered his wife’s involvement, has sparked local concern and prompted ongoing investigations by religious and security authorities. The arrests were made under the leadership of the local Hisbah commander, Malam Shafi’u Ibrahim, following a report from the aggrieved husband.
