Dele Momodu, a prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly endorsed Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term in the upcoming August 15, 2026, governorship election. In a strongly worded post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Momodu criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for turning Osun into a “theater of war,” warning that the political climate could lead to electoral manipulation if opposition parties fail to unite. He urged all opposition forces to immediately align behind Adeleke, the incumbent governor and candidate of the Accord Party, to ensure a fair and credible election.
