President Bola Tinubu has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State, securing an overwhelming mandate from party members. The primary, conducted on Saturday, saw Tinubu win all 10 wards of the local government, receiving 15,670 votes. His sole rival, Dr. Stanley Osifo, received zero votes, marking a decisive outcome in the party’s internal contest.
The results were announced by Dr. Surajo Musa, the presiding officer for the primary election in the LGA. He confirmed that the direct primaries were carried out transparently and in accordance with party guidelines.
