A 22-year-old man, Daniel Samuel, has died from knife wounds in Adamawa State after reporting to police that he was attacked by two men. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 12, in Michika town, where Samuel arrived at the Divisional Police Headquarters with visible injuries and blood stains on his body. He told officers that he was stabbed on the back by Dakiyar Tumba, 23, and Sini Luka, 31, both residents of the same area. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the case and stated that both suspects have been arrested in connection with conspiracy and culpable homicide.
Upon receiving the report, police operatives from the Michika Divisional Headquarters immediately rushed Samuel to the hospital. Despite medical intervention, he was later pronounced dead. The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement released to journalists in Yola.
