Hamzat Calls on Nigerians to Champion Tinubus Achievements in Communities

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has urged Nigerians to actively promote the achievements of President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing the importance of spreading awareness about government reforms beyond personal circles into broader communities. The call was made during the South-West Zonal Walk organized by the ‘Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN)’ group at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. Hamzat stressed the need for deliberate public enlightenment on policies and reforms, noting that many citizens remain unaware of ongoing initiatives aimed at repositioning the country. He encouraged Nigerians to become advocates by sharing verified information about the administration’s programmes to foster informed public discourse.

Hamzat highlighted economic stability as a cornerstone of national development, stating that President Tinubu’s policies are designed to ensure financial sustainability and long-term growth. He noted that the administration has laid a solid foundation for economic recovery, including improved investor confidence and a more predictable foreign exchange environment. While he acknowledged that the full benefits of these reforms may take time to be fully realized, he emphasized that progress is underway and requires public support and understanding. The Deputy Governor also pointed to the student loan programme as a significant intervention, stating that millions of Nigerian students have already benefited, contributing to the nation’s human capital development.

Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, echoed this sentiment, urging Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid based on the progress recorded across various sectors. He cited improvements in governance, economic management, and infrastructure development as evidence of the administration’s commitment to national transformation. Similarly, Chairman of Conference 57, Sesan Olowa, described Tinubu’s leadership as transformative, highlighting efforts to stabilize the economy, enhance security, and drive infrastructure projects nationwide. Olowa emphasized that these developments are part of a broader vision to rebuild Nigeria’s economy and restore public confidence.

Ahmed Bala, Director-General of RTIFN, reiterated the group’s mission to bridge information gaps and promote accurate understanding of government policies. He explained that RTIFN is committed to public engagement and enlightenment initiatives to ensure citizens are well-informed about national reforms. The group aims to counter misinformation and foster a culture of accountability and transparency in governance. Through organized events like the South-West Zonal Walk, RTIFN seeks to mobilize public support for President Tinubu’s agenda and strengthen civic participation in national development.

As Nigeria continues to navigate economic challenges, the call for public awareness and advocacy remains critical. The efforts of leaders like Hamzat and civil society groups such as RTIFN underscore the importance of informed citizenry in shaping the country’s future. With sustained communication and engagement, the administration’s vision for a stable, prosperous Nigeria may gain broader public backing.
