Nigerian actress Georgina Onuoha has called for the arrest of Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, after the relationship expert admitted to making false claims about having breast cancer. The actress’s demand comes amid ongoing controversy over Blessing CEO’s actions, which have sparked outrage across social media and led to accusations of fraud and deception.
In a recent interview, Blessing CEO attempted to clarify her situation to the online show “Young and Healthy Bros,” hosted by Egungun. She noted that miscommunication had caused public confusion about her health. She emphasized that she had indeed received biopsy results but had not started chemotherapy and was still awaiting further assessments to determine the exact stage of her cancer.
However, Georgina Onuoha, who has been particularly vocal about the incident, criticized Blessing CEO’s behavior in a detailed Instagram post. She argued that the expert’s actions, including soliciting donations based on purported health issues, constituted serious deception. Georgina pointed out that Blessing CEO had falsely claimed to have stage 4 breast cancer and had collected ₦13 million from well-wishers who responded to her appeals. Despite the backlash, Blessing CEO had refused to apologize or refund the money, claiming that she had merely been testing people’s love.
Georgina described Blessing CEO’s actions as unethical and exploitative, arguing that they undermined public trust and could deter people from supporting genuine patients who truly need assistance.
