Multi-Trex Integrated Foods Plc extended its rally on the Nigerian Exchange on Thursday as the stock gained 10 percent to close at N0.55.
The stock advanced from N0.50 to N0.55, adding five kobo during the session to rank among the day’s biggest gainers.
The latest increase extends the strong run recorded by Multi-Trex since trading in its shares resumed following the lifting of a suspension that had lasted nearly eight years.
The Nigerian Exchange lifted the suspension on Multi-Trex shares on October 7, 2026, after the company filed the relevant outstanding financial statements required for compliance.
Trading in the company’s shares had been suspended in November 2018 following its failure to meet financial reporting requirements.
Since returning to active trading, Multi-Trex has attracted renewed investor interest.
The stock climbed from N0.36 to N0.42 during the week ended October 9, representing a gain of 16.67 percent.
By Thursday, October 15, the share price had reached N0.55, putting it 13 kobo, or approximately 31 percent, above its October 9 closing price.
Measured from N0.36, the level from which the post-suspension rally accelerated, Multi-Trex has now appreciated by N0.19 per share, or about 52.8 percent.
The latest 10 percent advance also places the stock among a small group of equities recording maximum or near-maximum daily gains during Thursday’s session.
Zichis Agro Allied Industries similarly gained 10 percent to N17.93, while Austin Laz & Company advanced 9.92 percent to N2.66.
Multi-Trex’s continued rally came as the broader equities market recorded a marginal increase, with the NGX All-Share Index gaining 0.01 percent to 247,707.13 points on Thursday.
