The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 38-year-old man accused of defiling an eight-year-old girl in Fana village, located in Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi State. In response, authorities swiftly transported the survivor to the Mai Talle Tara Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Kalgo for medical evaluation and documentation. Upon arrival at the NSCDC headquarters in Kebbi State, the suspect reportedly complained of ill health, prompting officers to delay his formal detention pending a medical examination.
